Nordstrom hires Lisa Price as chief human resources officer

US department store Nordstrom has appointed Lisa Price as chief human resources officer.

Price previously served as a member of the human resources team at Nordstrom from 2015 to 2019, most recently as senior vice president of human resources.

She then worked with Domino’s Pizza where she held the position of executive vice president, chief human resources officer for over four years.

In her new role, Price will support all aspects of human resources at Nordstrom, including recruitment and succession planning, learning and development, recognition and retention, as well as diversity and inclusion, and total rewards.

Erik Nordstrom, chief executive officer of Nordstrom, said: “With nearly three decades of experience driving and creating culture for large global organizations and previous experience working at Nordstrom, Lisa understands that the success of our business starts with our people.

Price’s career has also included a 20 year stint at Starbucks where she held a variety of human resources roles.
