Foot Locker appoints first global brands president

Foot Locker has appointed Samantha Lomow as president of global brands.

With over 25 years of leadership experience, she has joined the business from Hasbro where she served as president of branded entertainment. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of Hasbro Brands.

Lomow will report directly to Frank Bracken, Foot Locker chief operating officer, and will oversee the company’s global brand portfolio and operating divisions across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Bracken said: “Samantha has a track record of successfully driving insight-led business strategy, operational excellence, and transformational priorities and initiatives to deliver sustainable growth. As we look towards the future and our purpose to inspire and empower youth culture, Samantha’s fresh perspective and experience will further accelerate our consumer-led strategies and the development of our omnichannel value proposition.”

Lomow currently sits on the management board of Claire’s Holdings.

Foot Locker Inc’s portfolio of brands includes Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Eastbay, Atmos, WSS, Footaction, and Sidestep. The company has around 2,900 retail stores in 28 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
