Wickes rolls out rapid delivery service
Wickes has rolled out rapid delivery across 150 stores nationwide.
The home improvement retailer has partnered with last-mile delivery specialist Gophr to launch ‘Wickes Rapid’.
The same-day service will deliver DIY essentials and trade materials directly to homes and job sites in as little as two to three hours, with customers benefiting from live GPS tracking, proof of delivery and real-time notifications.
Customers will be able to choose products from Wickes’ full store, with same-day delivery options ranging from motorbikes to large vans, depending on the size of items ordered.

Steven Blair, chief operating officer at Wickes, said: “We know our customers want to get what they need, when they need it, without losing time on the job or at home. With our new partnership with Gophr, they can now have everything from tools to timber delivered straight from their local store to their doorstep in just a few hours.
