Wickes opens new Bury St Edmunds store on former Homebase site
Wickes has opened a new store in Bury St Edmunds on a former Homebase site.
The 35,000 square foot space includes a 3,900 square foot showroom that offers a wide selection of home improvement products for both trade professionals and DIY customers.
Subscribe to TRBThe shop also features a new bathroom and kitchen showroom to inspire customers in creating their dream homes. In addition, customers can access Wickes’ free design service, with expert advice from the store’s design consultants, as well as an installation service.
Meanwhile, local customers can take advantage of delivery straight from the store to nearby areas or use its click & collect service.
The shop at Moreton Hall Estate on Easlea Road is the second of four former Homebase sites to be converted into Wickes stores. Some 17 of the 30 jobs in the store have been filled by former Homebase employees.
