Superdrug opens new and improved store in Thanet
Superdrug has opened a new, larger store at the Westwood Cross shopping centre in Kent as it continues its bricks-and-mortar expansion.
At 6,566 square feet, the shop is the biggest Superdrug store in the Thanet area.
The new space offers customers a fully extended range of health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments, and luxury fragrances. Shoppers can explore a wider selection of cosmetics and premium fragrances, and access a broader range of beauty services such as eyebrow shaping, nail treatments, acrylics, and piercings.
Clare Jennings, property director at Superdrug, said “We’re excited to unveil our brand-new store at Westwood Cross shopping centre in Kent. This larger location marks an important step in growing Superdrug’s footprint in the area and gives us the chance to offer an even wider range of products and services to our customers.
“We’re proud to bring a modern shopping experience that features leading health and beauty brands, a premium fragrance section, and our in-store Beauty Studio. Plus, with three new roles created, we’re also helping to boost local employment and invest in the future of the community.”

Superdrug is currently working to open 25 new stores in 2025.
