Superdrug launches online booking for Beauty Studio appointments

Superdrug has launched an online booking service for its Beauty Studio following growing demand for its in-store services.

Customers can now book appointments online for 72 Beauty Studio locations for services including nails, brows, waxing, lashes and hair.

The booking system will roll out to more than 200 stores by the end of October, although piercing will remain a walk-in service.

Stores already offering online booking include places like White City, Manchester Arndale, Cribbs Causeway, Merry Hill, Stratford, Cardiff St David’s, Newry Buttercrane, Brighton Churchill Square, Edinburgh Princes Street and Doncaster Frenchgate.

Simon Comins, chief operating officer at Superdrug, said: “At Superdrug, we want more customers to be able to enjoy professional beauty treatments without compromising on convenience or value.

“Our Beauty Studios bring expert, on-trend services to the high street, and as demand continues to grow, introducing online booking is a natural next step in making those services even easier to access.”

“Customers will have greater flexibility to plan their visit and secure an appointment at a time that works for them. It also brings our store and online experiences closer together, making it easier for customers to discover and enjoy Beauty Studio services in a way that suits them.”

The launch forms part of Superdrug’s “Online + Offline” strategy, as it looks to create a more connected experience across its stores and website. Recent initiatives have included a 24/7 delivery service through Just Eat, offering more than 8,000 products with delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
