Superdrug appoints new healthcare director
Superdrug has appointed Ghada Beal as its new healthcare director.
With 28 years’ experience in the retail and pharmacy sector, she was previously retail and pharmacy services director at Lloyds Pharmacy. Prior to that, she worked for 26 years at Walgreen Boots Alliance where her last role was vice president, director of stores.

Beal is joining Superdrug’s healthcare division at a time when the retailer is achieving consistent year-on-year growth across health retail, services and pharmacy. Superdrug has committed to investing in 25 new stores and refitting 70 shops this year.
She will take up her role on 7 August when interim healthcare director Caris Newson will move to her new role as Superdrug head of ecommerce.
