Morrisons revamps More Card app with six personalised offers every week

Morrisons has enhanced its More Card app with new personalised offers and features to make shopping easier and help customers get more value.

In addition to an improved look and feel, the supermarket has added hyper-personalised offers for app users, who will receive six weekly offers tailored to their shopping habits. These will give percentage discounts or extra More Points when customers buy the items during the offer period.

Morrisons has also introduced a new shopping list feature, which allows customers to scan an item’s barcode at home to add it to their list. Products are organised on the list by aisle to he shoppers find items more easily when they visit a store.

Other changes include moving the Morrisons Price & Product Finder to the homepage, making it quicker and easier for customers to search for items, check prices and locate the exact aisle in their local store.

Gareth Lloyd, value and loyalty marketing director at Morrisons, said: “We’re always listening to our customers and looking for ways to make the Morrisons More Card app even better.

“We’ve built on what customers already love, making the app easier to use and navigate, while introducing smarter, hyper-personalised offers and convenient features to simplify everyday shopping. It’s all about ensuring our customers get maximum value and rewards tailored specifically to them.”

The Morrisons More Card enables customers to collect five More Points on every product they buy, including purchases made through Amazon, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat. Points can then be turned  into More Card Fivers, which can be redeemed on future shops.

Last month, Morrisons reported that it had posted its 15th consecutive quarter of sales growth, with like-for-like sales up 3.2%.
