Waitrose expands eco laundry range to meet customer demand
Waitrose is expanding its eco laundry range after seeing a 40% uplift in sales of the products.
The updated range will include a new product that washes items without the need for washing detergent. Called the ecoegg Laundry Egg, it contains two types of mineral pellets that work together to clean. The product can be used for up to 70 washes.
In addition, Waitrose will be stocking ecoegg Dryer Eggs which reduce tumble drying time and creasing. It will also be offering a new patented washing machine bag which filters out and traps plastic microfibres from synthetic clothes.
