TK Maxx to join line-up at Atria Watford

TK Maxx is to open a new store at Atria Watford this summer.

Spanning 30,557 square feet across three floors, the shop will offer clothing, accessories, homeware and beauty items from brands large and small at discounted prices.

The store is situated close to TK Maxx’s UK headquarters on nearby Clarendon Road.

The retailer has taken a unit that was previously occupied by Next which has now relocated and upsized within the centre. At 94,478 square feet, Next’s new store includes its home, beauty and fashion offerings all under one roof and also features a Mamas & Papas concession.

Owned by property company SGS and asset managed by Global Mutual, Atria Watford is home to brands ranging from small independents through to well-known retailers such as Zara, M&S and Primark.

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said: “Following a successful festive period – with footfall back above 2019 levels for December  – we’re thrilled to start 2023 on a positive note with this signing.

“TK Maxx is a much-loved brand, with a diverse product offer and broad appeal. We know it will act as a real draw for shoppers, driving footfall and spend – and we look forward to when it opens its doors in summer 2023.”
