Pets at Home appoints non-executive director

Pets at Home has appointed AI and machine learning expert Angelique Augereau as a non-executive director.

When joining the Pets at Home board on 22 January 2024, she will also become a member of the nomination and corporate governance committee and the ESG committee.

Until recently, Augereau was chief analytics officer at Capital One Financial Corporation where she led a team executing Capital One’s first artificial intelligence and machine learning strategy for the card business.

Prior to that, she worked as chief data and analytics officer at Apax Partners and as managing director in JP Morgan’s Global Payment Business where she built and scaled a data-driven innovation unit.

Ian Burke, chair of Pets at Home, said: “On behalf of the board, I am delighted to welcome Angelique Augereau to Pets at Home Group. The directors and I look forward to Angelique joining our board of directors and strengthening the board’s experience in AI and machine learning.”
