MySale non-exec director steps down

Online shopping group MySale Group has confirmed that its non-executive director Mark Bayliss has resigned from its board with immediate effect following the company’s decision to withdraw a proposed listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.

On 4 November 2021, the group announced a number of board changes, including the appointment of Bayliss, as it looked ahead to the listing.

However, it subsequently confirmed on 25 November that it was withdrawing the listing in light of equity market conditions and the performance of a number of IPOs in Australia.

Commenting on Bayliss’s resignation, Carl Jackson, executive chairman of MySale, said: “I would like to thank Mark for his contribution during his tenure on the board. As previously announced, the board maintains the long-term objective of aligning its listing with its operations in Australia and intends to reassess the timing of an ASX listing at the appropriate time.”
