Games Workshop sees jump in full year profit

Games Workshop has said it expects its full year profit to rise to no less than £200 million from £171 million in the prior year.

In a year end trading update, the maker of Warhammer also said that it expects core revenue to be not less than £490 million in the 53 weeks to 2 June compared to £445 million a year earlier. Licensing income is also set to be up, rising to £30 million from a previous £25 million.

The news means that Games Workshop staff are set to receive a bonus for the performance with group profit share cash payments amounting in total to £18 million being paid out. This compares to £11 million in the previous year.

The company is set to release its 2024 Annual Report on 30 July.
