Games Workshop appoints Neil Tomlinson as chief operating officer
Games Workshop, the creator and owner of Warhammer, has appointed Neil Tomlinson as chief operating officer.
Currently group operations director with the company, he will take up his new role on 31 May.
Subscribe to TRBPrior to joining Games Workshop in 2018, Tomlinson served as head of merchandising and Tu at Sainsbury’s and Argos. He has also previously served as commercial planning director at Walmart Global Sourcing and worked with Asda for over seven years in a number of senior roles.
In his new position, Tomlinson will be responsible for Games Workshop’s design studios, which will extend his remit across the full design-to-manufacture team.
Games Workshop has also announced that Max Bottrill, its operational IP and design director, will report to Tomlinson, and will therefore step down as a director of the company.
