Games Workshop appoints new non-executive director

Hobby miniatures company Games Workshop has appointed Mark Lam as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

With extensive board experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors, Lam was previously chief technology and information officer at Openreach and a senior executive at BT Group.

He currently serves as chair of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and is also vice chair of Broadway Partners, a fibre broadband business.

At Games Workshop, he will become a member of the audit and risk, remuneration and nomination committees.

The company has also announced that Games Workshop non-executive director Kate Marsh has been appointed as chair of its remuneration committee.
