Games Workshop appoints new non-executive director

Games Workshop has appointed Eric Maugein as a non-executive director with immediate effect. 

He will also become a member of the board’s audit and risk, remuneration and nomination committees.

Having worked for 35 years in the consumer goods sector, Maugein spent 20 years of his career at the LEGO Group where his most recent position was regional president of the LEGO Group Asia Pacific.

In a statement, Games Workshop highlighted his considerable experience in building and leading successful strategies for new markets in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, and expansions in markets such as China and India.

Prior to joining the Lego Group in 2004, Maugein worked in senior positions in a range of companies, including Newell Rubbermaid and Photomaton.
