B&M operations director joins Royal Mail

Royal Mail has poached Martin Roberts, long standing executive from B&M to join as new Chief Retail Officer.
Roberts will be responsible for the Post Office network of 11,500 branches and will also oversee its cash distribution operation.
He is moving from B&M where he has held the role of UK operations director for six years. He previously held Director and Board roles at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets & Bank, DIY Chain Wickes, Vodafone UK and he has been the Non-Executive Director at GoAudits since 2019.
