Amazon offers students 75% off coach tickets for getting home this Christmas
As part of its Black Friday activity, Amazon is offering thousands of discounted National Express Coach tickets to help students return home for Christmas.
The online retail giant said the move marks its biggest ever Prime Student travel deal where it will help students get home for as little as £2, Amazon is offering 75% off 5,000 National Express one-way coach fares from 25 November until 9 December while stocks last
New research commissioned by Amazon reveals that a fifth of students are struggling to afford to travel home this Christmas. Furthermore, three quarters of respondents said they have been forced to cut back on trips home in the last 12 months due to the rising cost of living,
Amazon is promoting the offer in a feel-good short film featuring football stars Harry Redknapp and Jermain Defoe.
Redknapp said: “Chuffed to see Amazon and National Express team up to deliver thousands of students home this Christmas season for as little as two quid. Best bit of business since I signed Jermain. All three times.”
