Whole Foods Market to open new Notting Hill store
Whole Foods Market is to open a new store in London’s Notting Hill Gate on 14 May in a move marking the halfway point in its latest expansion plans.
Spanning 7,200 square feet, the store will offer natural and organic products as well as fresh, ready-to-eat meals and grocery items. It will also stock fresh produce, bakery items, prepared foods, hot food, self-serve coffee, juices, alcoholic beverages and flower bouquets.
Subscribe to TRBIn addition, it will feature a new Discovery Zone, which will be used to showcase new and challenger brands.
Maryam Bayat Shahbazi, store team leader, said: “Notting Hill Gate is a vibrant, eclectic, and highly diverse community, full of character and creativity.
“It was very important for us to reflect that in the store. From the selection of products to the overall atmosphere, we’ve aimed to create a space that feels relevant, welcoming, and connected to local life.
“Our goal is to be a place where people can shop, discover, and feel a sense of belonging – a store that feels like it’s part of the fabric of Notting Hill Gate.”
To celebrate the opening, Daily Dose will be offering sample juice shots to people in the queue, and the first 200 customers will receive a tote bag and a £5 voucher to spend in store.
In March, Whole Foods Market announced that it would be opening six new stores in London over the next three months. This has included the launch of sites in Angel and Liverpool Street last month.
