Whole Foods Market to open six new stores in London
Whole Foods Market is to open six new stores in London over the next three months.
The news follows the launch of the natural and organic food retailer’s first new UK location in more than a decade in King’s Road.
Subscribe to TRBWhole Foods Market will be opening stores in Angel and Liverpool Street in April, Notting Hill Gate and Wood Wharf in May, and Monument and St. James in June. This will take the number of UK stores to 12.
Jason Buechel, vice president of Amazon’s worldwide grocery stores and Whole Foods Market chief executive, said: “We’re happy to be expanding Whole Foods Market’s physical store presence in the UK, allowing us to reach more customers with our uncompromising quality standards and carefully curated
selection of natural and organic products.”
The six new sites will vary in size between roughly 3,300 and 10,000 square feet. They form part of the international expansion of Whole Foods Market’s Daily Shop format, which launched in New York City in 2024 for locations under 14,000 square feet.
