Uber Eats reveals list of most delivered sandwiches in UK

To mark the start of British Sandwich Week, Uber Eats has revealed a list of the most delivered sandwiches on its app from its UK grocery and convenience partners.

Despite the growing popularity of plant-based food, Uber has found that nine out of ten of the most popular fillings featured meat, with bacon being the most common,

The top ten list was as follows:

  1. Southern Fried Chicken Sub Sandwich

  2. Chicken & Sweetcorn Sandwich

  3. Brunch Triple Sandwich (egg, bacon & sausage)

  4. Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato Sandwich

  5. Chicken & Stuffing Sandwich

  6. Chicken Triple Sandwich

  7. Egg & Bacon Sandwich

  8. Cheese & Ham

  9. Chicken & Bacon

  10. Cheese Sandwich

Uber Eats delivers from over 4,300 grocery and convenience partners across the UK, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Asda, Morrisons Daily, Little Waitrose by Shell, Southern Co-Op and a range of independent grocers.

Alex Troughton, head of grocery and new verticals at Uber Eat UK, said :“Through Uber Eats’ grocery and convenience offering we are able to offer a huge range of products to our customers across the UK. Sandwiches have remained a top lunchtime choice for generations and it seems as though that trend will continue through grocery delivery.”
