Naked Wines appoints group chief financial officer
Naked Wines has appointed James Crawford as group chief financial officer and as an executive director of the business.
Crawford has been working in the position on an interim basis since July while carrying out his role as managing director of Naked Wines UK. Prior to that, he served as Naked’s group finance director and group chief financial officer.
Naked said it is now actively recruiting for a candidate to fill the UK managing director role.
Prior to joining the company, Crawford spent 14 years at alcoholic beverage company Diageo in various finance and business development roles.
David Stead, Naked Wines chairman, said: “I am thrilled to welcome James back to the Board and cannot imagine a better-equipped CFO to lead Naked through its next phase. James’ finance expertise and intricate knowledge of Naked’s business will be invaluable as we continue to evolve and grow.”
