M&S Food launching six new and improved London stores in run-up to Christmas
M&S Food is expanding in London with six new or transformed stores opening between now and the end of the year.
This week the retailer has opened a new 5,300 square foot fresh market-style foodhall in Covent Garden’s Southampton Street and has relaunched its Temple Fortune and Wimbledon foodhalls following major transformations.
There will also be two openings in November at Clapham Common and Fulham Broadway.
The new and transformed stores are part M&S’ £90 million investment in London which includes six new foodhall openings and eleven renewals in the current financial year.
Subscribe to TRBThe retailer is also planning to relaunch its renewed Chiswick store in early December. Combined the six new openings and renewals have created over 200 new jobs.

Operated by franchise partner SSP, M&S Food at Paddington station will undergo a renewal next month.
