Lidl GB appoints Roberto Eretta as chief operating officer
Lidl GB is to appoint Roberto Eretta as chief operating officer.
He will succeed Maciej Tylkowski when he takes up an international position this summer.
Subscribe to TRBEretta is currently serving as chief operating officer for Italy. He has worked with the supermarket for nearly 20 years, having started out as an area manager. Prior to his current role, he was human resources director.
Speaking about his new role, he said: “I’m excited to join the team in GB and share my love for offering the best possible experience while delivering quality and affordability at the same time.”
Tylkowski took up his current position in 2023 but has worked with the supermarket since 2000. His roles have included working with Lidl Poland and Lidl Germany.
In January, Lidl announced that it had appointed Louise Weise as chief customer officer.
