Lidl appoints chief customer officer
Lidl has appointed Louise Weise as chief customer officer.
Weise has worked with the supermarket since 2010, initially as a graduate trainee.
Subscribe to TRBShe then moved up the ranks and subsequently became customer director before taking on her new role this month.
Joining Lidl’s board of directors, she will lead the supermarket’s brand and marketing, loyalty and customer insight, in-store customer experience and customer care.
In a statement on LinkedIn, Lidl said: “Louise knows Lidl inside out and brings a brilliant customer-first mindset to the role. She’s already played a key part in our growth and has a real talent for connecting strategy with what customers experience in-store every day.”
Earlier this week, Lidl announced that it is to open 19 new stores in eight weeks as it continues to expand into new areas.
