Iceland expands product range with 800 new lines

Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse have launched over 800 new products as part of their latest innovation push.

Available in stores and online, the new additions include an exclusive launch of Jamie Oliver’s six all-new frozen ready meals.

Other products in the expanded range include a full Piccolino range relaunch as well as 14 new Piccolino lines. These include dishes such as Chilli Prawn Linguine, Bolognese Bites and Calzone Meat Feasts.

The supermarket is also offering a re-launched Blue Dragon range with five new product innovations. In addition, Slimming World will launch new items such as Beef Hotpot, Sweet Potato Curry Lunch bowls and a range of side dishes this month.

Paul Dhaliwal, chief commercial officer at Iceland, said: “We’re delighted to launch over 800 new products across Iceland and The Food Warehouse as we head into autumn, offering a wide range of products for our customers.

“We’re always listening to feedback from our shoppers and looking for ways to bring them new, innovative and delicious options from some of the biggest brands. We can’t wait for our customers to get their hands on the new range and sample some of the fantastic products and deals on offer.”

Iceland said its TGI Friday’s offering is also continuing  to grow with sales up 25% year-on-year. New products in the range include Slow Cooked Ribs and Wings Bucket, Ultimate Loaded Beef Taco Pizza, XL Hash Brown Cheeseburgers and Meat Feast Loaded Doughballs.

The new launches will be supported by a series of in-store activations.
