Central England Co-operative hires commercial director

Central England Co-operative has appointed Andy Peake to the new position of commercial director.
He will lead the organisation’s product and category teams and continue the development of its commercial strategy.
Peake previously worked with Asda for nearly 20 years, most recently as senior director for core grocery and petrol.
Speaking of his appointment, Peake said: “I’m delighted to be joining Central England Co-operative and cannot wait to use over two decades of experience in the retail industry to help support the great work the Society is currently delivering and drive future growth and success.”
With a team of over 8,000 staff, Central England Co-operative is one of the largest independent retail co-operative societies in the UK.
