Bird & Blend opens 30th UK store

Bird & Blend Tea Co. has opened its 30th retail store in the UK as it continues its investment in high street retail.

The launch in Windsor comes just weeks after the retailer opened a new shop at the Bluewater Shopping Centre.

Visitors to the Windsor store can explore the brand’s award-winning tea range and collection of flavoured matcha, including blends such as Chocolate Digestives, Strawberry Lemonade, Gingerbread Chai, and Earl Grey Crème. The store also offers ceremonial grade matcha and a selection of flavours such as Blueberry Muffin Super Matcha, Ice Cream Matcha, and Banana Matcha.

The store will also host free live matcha demonstrations, provide personalised tea matching, serve tea and matcha-based drinks to go, and run the brand’s popular Mixology Masterclasses.

To celebrate the opening, Bird & Blend has created a Windsor exclusive blend called Windsor Royal Tea. The retailer will donate 50% of profits from the blend to the store team’s chosen local charity, Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service.

The opening has created at least six new jobs in the local area, including a store manager, assistant manager, and a team of tea mixologists.

Mike Turner, co-founder and managing director of Bird & Blend Tea Co, said, “Opening our 30th store is an incredibly proud moment for the whole Bird & Blend team.

“Customer experience has always been at the heart of what we do, and while our digital community continues to grow at pace, we remain deeply committed to investing in local high streets and the people who make them special.

“Our stores are far more than retail spaces—they’re community hubs where customers can connect with our team, with one another, and with the magic of our teas. Celebrating this milestone with a new store opening feels especially meaningful, and we’re thrilled to be bringing the Bird & Blend experience to even more tea lovers across the UK.”
