Zara doubles up at Gateshead’s Metrocentre
Fashion brand Zara has returned to the North East following a major store refurbishment at its expanded Metrocentre store.
Now spanning 42,000 square, the shop is double the size of the previous store and offers an extended product range across all departments
Subscribe to TRBSituated in the centre’s Red Mall, the store also features the latest technology innovations via its fitting rooms and self-service tills.
Ben Cox of Sovereign Centros, senior asset manager for Metrocentre, said: “As the only Zara store in the region it has been amazing to see the reaction from our shoppers for the return of this much-loved brand. To be the location of choice within the North East for another retail giant further reinforces Metrocentre’s position as the dominant trading location in the region.”
New brands set to open at Metrocentre in the coming weeks include Sports Direct, Everlast Gym and Flying Tiger.
