Wed2b unveils new bridal megastore at London’s Royal Victoria Dock
Bridal retailer Wed2b has opened a new megastore at Royal Victoria Dock, opposite ExCeL London.
Spanning 10,000 square feet, the shop is the retailer’s biggest to date, housing 1,500 wedding dresses under one roof.
Subscribe to TRBWed2b said the store has been designed to give brides-to-be a wider of choice of dresses and a more immersive experience than in other Wed2b locations.
It also features new in-store retail concepts and fitting experiences designed around the modern bride, including virtual dress try-on.
Todd Cassidy, Wed2b co-founder and managing director, said: “The megastore represents where we want to take Wed2b as a brand.
“It gives brides more choice, more space to explore and more ways to discover what suits them, but importantly, we don’t want scale to make bridal shopping feel overwhelming. We want it to make the experience feel even more personal.
“Our recent research, with more than 11,000 brides across UK and Europe, reinforced just how important confidence, reassurance and honest advice are when choosing a wedding dress.”
Co-founder and director Jenny Cassidy said: “Ultimately, it’s about taking what brides already value about “Wed2b and creating an even more memorable experience around one of the most important purchases they’ll ever make.”
