Watches of Switzerland begins preliminary expansion in Europe

Watches of Switzerland Group is beginning a preliminary expansion across Europe with the opening of several new mono-brand boutiques.

The group has already opened a Breitling store in Stockholm on 16 June, and this will be followed by a roll out of further Breitling stores in Stockholm Mall of Scandinavia and Copenhagen in September.

Watches of Switzerland will also be launching the first ever Omega store in Copenhagen, which the group said will represent the best of  the Omega brand.

Craig Bolton, president for the Watches of Switzerland Group, UK and Europe, said: “We are delighted to be working with our brand partners, as we embark on our expansion into European territories, starting with our Breitling Boutique in Stockholm, opening June 2022.

“We have a programme of projects primarily focusing on the Nordics and Ireland initially, which will see us open further mono brand Boutiques by the end of 2022. We are very excited as we embark on this journey to increase our presence in Europe, and we are actively exploring other territories and opportunities in the marketplace.”
