Ted Baker appoints new non-executive director

Fashion retailer Ted Baker has hired Jon Kempster as an independent non-executive director.
Kempster has previously held board positions at companies such as Delta, Fii Group, Linden, Low & Bonar, Sports Direct, Utilitywise and Wincanton. Since 2017, he has been a non-executive director at Redcentric and is a trustee of the Delta pension scheme.
At Ted Baker, he will be chair of the audit and risk committee and will also join the remuneration committee.
In other changes, Helena Feltham will assume the role of senior independent director.
The retailer has also announced that Ron Stewart has stepped down after nine years as a non-executive director of the group.
