Primark appoints head of ethical trade for EMEAA

Primark has appointed Sue Fairley as head of ethical trade for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia (EMEAA).

She previously worked with New Look for nine years where her most recent role was senior head of ESG, sourcing and quality.

Prior to that, Fairley served as head of technical at Charles Tyrwhitt and director of product technology at Boden.

The news follows the appointment of Matt Houston as Primark chief customer and digital officer in July. He has succeeded Michelle McEttrick who has stepped down from the role of chief customer officer after nearly three years.
