Newbie, the Swedish baby and childrenswear brand, has continued its international expansion with the opening of a new store in Bromley.

Having launched on 22 May, the Bromley shop is the brand’s eighth UK store and will be followed by openings in Windsor and four additional locations across the London area.  This follows successful openings in Canary Wharf, Brent Cross and Guildford in 2024.

The expansion forms part of the brand’s long-term growth strategy which includes the three pillars of establishing a presence in key markets, meeting customer demand, and creating inspiring in-store experiences.

Newbie offers a complete wardrobe for newborns and kids aged up to eight years, as well as a women’s collection to provide matching outfits for mothers and children.

Thomas Kusoffsky, vice president at Newbie, said: “The British market is exciting and full of potential, and we are eagerly looking forward to continuing our growth journey here.

“Our British customers have given Newbie a very warm reception and they clearly appreciate our focus on timeless design, our nostalgic style and our PreLoved concept.”

Newbie has around 30 standalone stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and the UK.
