MF Brands hires new chief executive for Aigle

MF Brands has appointed Valérie Dassier as the new chief executive of Aigle.

In her new role, Dassier will be responsible for supporting the brand’s development both in France and internationally. She will also work to strengthen its distribution channels whilst pursuing a “product strategy around collections that combine functionality, style and creativity”.

Thierry Guibert, chief executive of MF Brands Group, said: “I am delighted with the arrival of Valérie Dassier at the head of the Aigle brand. Valérie is a bold entrepreneur, an expert in fashion, retail and digital, who has successfully led several transformations.”

Dassier  began her career at Le Bon Marché where she held various positions in buying, sales and project management. Her previous roles have also included being chief digital and customer officer at Kenzo and deputy managing director of IKKS.

Guibert added: “Valérie Dassier has everything the brand needs to perpetuate its unique know-how, pursue its development and meet its social and environmental commitments.”

MF Brands’ portfolio also includes Gant, Lacoste and The Kooples.
