John Lewis launches largest fashion collaboration yet with RIXO

John Lewis has launched its largest fashion collaboration to date, in partnership with RIXO.

An exclusive RIXO collection is now available in all 30 full-line John Lewis stores nationwide and online.

The 44-piece range includes dresses, knitwear, blouses, jackets, skirts, shoes and accessories, with prices ranging from £65 to £525.

It also features an exclusive floral motif inspired by a block-printed textile from 1849, selected from The John Lewis Partnership Archive during the design process. It is the first time an archive print has been used in a John Lewis fashion collaboration. The signature print appears on two dresses, a blouse, a skirt and a scarf.

Founded in 2015, RIXO has historically had a UK bricks-and-mortar presence only in standalone boutiques in London and Bicester. John Lewis said the collaboration will now enable customers across England, Scotland and Wales to see, touch and try on RIXO styles in John Lewis stores.

Rachel Morgans, fashion director at John Lewis, said: “I’ve loved RIXO for years, so making this our biggest collaboration yet and bringing it to our customers across the country is personally so exciting for me.

“Their pieces have this wonderful, vibrant energy and multigenerational appeal that people genuinely connect with, and incorporating our exclusive 1849 floral motif from the John Lewis Partnership Archive makes it feel even more special.

“By stocking the collaboration in all of our full line shops, we’re giving customers nationwide the chance to touch, feel, and try on these special pieces in person.”

Orlagh McCloskey, co-founder of RIXO, said: “We feel incredibly proud to have created something that reaches a wider audience than our London stores. This collaboration feels like a true extension of RIXO – taking the heritage of John Lewis, leaning into its incredible archive, and bringing it to life with that RIXO magic.

“For me, if you’re going to do a collaboration, you have to do it properly. It should feel as strong, if not stronger, than anything you’ve created before – every piece considered, every detail cared for, and something you feel genuinely proud to put your name to.

“We wanted the collection to do the talking. We can’t wait to see women across the UK, whether they’re longtime RIXO lovers or discovering us for the first time through John Lewis, style it in their own way and make it theirs.”

Earlier this month, John Lewis introduced an exclusive menswear collection with Savile Row tailor Clothsurgeon. Spanning 32 pieces, the collection includes tailoring, outerwear, knitwear, denim, jersey and accessories and is available online and in five John Lewis stores.
