Jigsaw retail director steps down just weeks after joining the business
Jigsaw’s retail director Lisa Butler has stepped down just weeks after joining the fashion retailer.
Prior to this, Butler served as global retail director at Russell & Bromley and is also a former retail director of Trinny London.
Subscribe to TRBAnnouncing her departure on LinkedIn, Butler said it had not been an easy decision, but expressed gratitude for the support surrounding her appointment and praised the Jigsaw retail teams for their “energy, commitment and welcome”.
She cited the environment as not being the right fit for her to do her best work, adding that “respect, integrity and kindness” were non-negotiables for her as a leader.
Butler added: “After 30 years in retail, I remain as passionate as ever about people, performance and building healthy, high-performing cultures – especially in an industry that continues to face significant pressure.
“I am now taking some time to reflect before moving into my next chapter, and I look forward to what comes next.”
