Gymshark makes its German retail debut with two new in-store partnerships
Gymshark is extending its physical presence with the opening of two permanent retail spaces in Germany.
The brand has signed agreements with multi-sports retailer Engelhorn and department store Breuninger to add Germany to a growing list of international locations that already includes Gymshark’s stores in New York, Amsterdam and Dubai.
Subscribe to TRBThe first space, a 150 square metre shop-in-shop within Engelhorn’s Mannheim store, will open on 19 February and carry products across a wide range of sports.
Expected to launch a few days later, a 100 square metre concession inside Breuninger’s flagship Stuttgart store will stock Gymshark’s collections for women and men.
Founded in 2012 by Ben Francis from his parents’ garage, Gymshark has previously only been available in Germany and Central Europe via its ecommerce site.
