John Lewis extends Christmas delivery options for last minute shoppers

The John Lewis department store has extended its Christmas delivery and click and collect windows to give customers more time to complete their festive shopping.

In a statement, the retailer said the cut off for click & collect means customers can pick up online purchases from a John Lewis or Waitrose shop as late as Christmas Eve if they order by midday on Friday 23 December.

The retailer is also offering next-day delivery for customers ordering by 4pm on Thursday 22  December (subject to demand).

John Lewis executive director Pippa Wicks said: “While some retailers closed their delivery windows early, we’ve been able to extend ours to even closer to Christmas – which is great news for all those last minute shoppers.

“Our teams are working flat out to guarantee customers’ deliveries before Christmas and, while we have great capacity, slots are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.”
