Meg Lustman to stand down as MD of Warehouse

Meg Lustman is to step down from her role as managing director of women’s fashion retailer Warehouse.

The Independent has reported that Lustman will leave her operational role next month although she may remain on the company’s board.

The news comes after Warehouse reported a 7% increase in UK like-for-like sales in the five weeks to 29 December.

Warehouse, which is part of the Aurora Fashions Group, operates  306 stand alone stores and concessions across the UK and 158 stores internationally.

Derek Lovelock, executive chairman of Aurora, told The Independent: “Under Meg’s leadership, Warehouse has flourished and we can report strong trading over the Christmas period.”

According to the newspaper, Warehouse does not intend to seek an immediate replacement for Lustman who has been with the company for over ten years. Lovelock added: “Warehouse has a strong management team so we don’t anticipate making any appointments in the near future.”
