Søstrene Grene to open new store in Liverpool

Danish homewares retailer Søstrene Grene is to open its first store in Liverpool as part of its continuing UK expansion.

Situated on Bold Street, the shop will aim to bring a touch of Danish charm and ‘hygge’ to the city, with products spanning homewares, furniture, kitchen products, gifting, wrapping paper, crafts, toys, accessories and “mini home” products for children.

Mikkel Grene, chief executive and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, said: “We are thrilled to introduce Søstrene Grene to the vibrant city of Liverpool. Our store is more than just a place to shop; it’s a destination for inspiration and to help create a sense of ‘hygge’ in your own home and routine.”

The move follows recent openings by the retailer in London and Sheffield. The Liverpool shop will be Søstrene Grene’s seventeenth in the UK.

Jonathan Cooper, UK joint venture partner at Søstrene Grene, added: “We are very pleased to be bringing Søstrene Grene to Liverpool and furthering the brand’s expansion across the UK. It’s long been a location on our radar, with Bold Street being the perfect spot for the store.”
