Oak Furnitureland appoints new chief financial officer

Wood furniture retailer Oak Furnitureland has appointed Emily Tate as its new chief financial officer.

Tate previously held the same role at Karen Millen and prior to that worked with Office Shoes, Jack Wills, Fat Face, Polo Ralph Lauren and B&Q.

Having joined the business on 4 November, she will be based at Oak Furnitureland’s headquarters in Swindon.

Alex Fisher, Oak Furnitureland chief executive, said: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Tate as our chief financial officer. Emily brings with her vast experience working with some of the UK’s best-known retail brands and will be a huge asset to the team as we drive forward our plans for future growth.”

Founded in 2006, Oak Furnitureland operates 73 stores across the UK.
