Loaf appoints chief financial officer

Furniture retailer Loaf has appointed Anne Blixen-Finecke as its new chief financial officer.

Blixen-Finecke has joined Loaf from Debenhams where was commercial financial director. Prior to that, she held various senior finance management roles at Marks & Spencer and Tesco.

At Loaf, Blixen-Finecke will be responsible for all aspects of finance, IT and compliance and will  also play an active role in shaping the company’s  long-term growth strategy. Loaf  is aiming to double its sales and profits over the next five years.

Charlie Marshall, founder and chief executive at Loaf, said: “We’re very excited to have Anne join us at Loaf. She’s a terrific talent with a superb track record and a wealth of experience. Anne was a crucial hire as we look to take Loaf to the next level, and I have no doubt she’ll achieve great things here.”

Founded in 2008, Loaf had a turnover of £48 million in its 2018/2019 financial year.
