Dr. Martens hires Kate Vacovec as global commercial finance director
Dr. Martens has hired Kate Vacovec as global commercial finance director.
She will join the footwear brand early this month from Yum! Brands, the owner of Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell, where she spent 15 years. Vacovec held a range of senior finance and broader business roles at the company, most recently as chief financial officer of Pizza Hut’s international operating markets.
Subscribe to TRBAt Dr. Martens, she will lead the global commercial finance team while reporting to chief financial officer Giles Wilson. She will also work closely with chief commercial officer Mike Stopforth, Americas president Paul Zadoff and market general managers to drive forward the company’s commercial strategy and support in-market teams around the world.
Wilson said: “Kate’s broad range of experience and skills will be a hugely valuable addition to Dr. Martens. She has a first-class reputation as an energetic leader with a proven ability to drive growth for global consumer brands. Dr. Martens has also recently appointed Justin Lee Seungoh to lead its South Korea business and hired former Burberry executive Katie Morton as global customer director as it executes its growth strategy.
