Furniture Village to open new store in Colchester

The UK’s largest family-run furniture retailer, Furniture Village, will be opening a new store in Colchester this Boxing Day.

Spanning 17,800 square feet at Stane Retail Park, the store will be the retailer’s 55th in the UK.

Visitors will be able to explore furniture and accessories ranges for every room of the home. There will also be exclusive pieces from brands such as Harrison Spinks, Ercol and Parker Knoll.

Charlie Harrison, commercial director at Furniture Village, said: “Colchester’s Stane Retail Park is a fantastic shopping destination and the perfect choice for our 55th store.

“We’re incredibly proud to reach this milestone and couldn’t be more delighted to be opening our doors here this Boxing Day. We’ve created nine new jobs within the sales consultant’s team and can’t wait to welcome customers, new and old, to the new store.”

Furniture Village said opening offers will include sale discounts of up to 40% plus an additional £50 off every £500 spent.

Other retailers with a presence at Stane Retail Park include the likes of M&S, Mountain Warehouse, Superdrug, Cook, Aldi and B&Q.
