Easy Bathrooms on track for growth targets

Easy Bathrooms has said it is on track to become the UK’s largest employer in the bathroom sector by the end of the year as it aims to reach a £100 million turnover in 2022.

The company is set to take on 200 new staff at its headquarters this year to add to its existing 645 employees. It will also be hiring an additional 200 team members across the UK during the next 18 months.

Following a turnover of £63.3 million in 2021, the company expects to achieve 57% growth in 2022. This is being driven by a store expansion programme, a general uplift in sales and an improved online offering. With 108 showrooms, Easy Bathrooms is set to open a further 32 shops this year.

The company is also in the process of constructing a 330,000 square foot distribution hub in Wakefield, which is due to be up and running in the autumn.

Craig Waddington, Easy Bathrooms managing director and founder, said: “This move is the culmination of years of hard work and meticulous planning from our team, and I couldn’t be prouder to be creating jobs and becoming a more well-recognised brand nationally.”
