Dunelm launches an own-label paint range
Homewares retailer Dunelm has launched its first own-label paint range.
Forming part of the retailer’s Decorate & Co-ordinate offering, it includes over 40 colour shades that can be teamed with 150 coordinating wallpaper designs.
Dunelm said the range was inspired by customer insight from the last 12 months and the fact that its stores saw a 9.8% spending increase on DIY and home goods in 2020.
All of the paints include self-adhesive swatches for testing on walls while the wider range also includes equipment such as rollers, paint brushes and wallpaper application tools.
Debbie Drake, design director at Dunelm, said: “We’re always looking at new ways to offer our customers the best shopping experience. The Decorate & Co-ordinate range was the answer to customers feeling much bolder and more confident when it came to DIY and decorating their homes. We saw a gap in the market for perfectly coordinating paints that match a range of homewares, textiles, and wallpapers and so our paint range was born.
“The idea of the range is that customers looking for a brand-new look for their home will be able to purchase the paint, wallpaper, furniture and accessories needed, all in one place, and at great value. Each design and each shade has been carefully curated to achieve a stylish and cohesive design scheme in any home, rented or owned.”
The own-label range of matt paints can be purchased online for home delivery, via click and collect and in 53 Dunelm stores nationwide.
