Superdrug to launch new Portsmouth store
Superdrug will re-open in Portsmouth this week as it looks to have a continued presence in the city.
With a space of 5,100 square feet, the new shop will offer the retailer’s range of health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments and luxury fragrances.
Health and beauty products will include Superdrug’s new own-brand cosmetics range Studio London, as well as items from the likes of Revolution, MUA, Bourjois and 3INA. There will also be a fragrance counter stocking perfume and aftershave by premium brands such as YSL, Viktor & Rolf, Giorgio Armani, Prada and Valentino.
Meanwhile the store’s Beauty Studio area will offer a range of professional treatments including eyebrow and lashes, piercing and nail services.
Nigel Duxbury, property director at Superdrug, said: “We are so pleased to be announcing the re-opening of a new store in Portsmouth, meaning we will have continued representation within this city. With a wide range of popular health and beauty brands, a luxury fragrance counter, and a professional Beauty Studio, we’re confident that our local customers will love and welcome the new store.”
Part of A.S. Watson Group, Superdrug operates around 800 stores across the UK and Ireland. The Portsmouth shop will open on 15 December.
