MAC appoints Nicola Formichetti as global creative director
Nicola Formichetti has been appointed as global creative director of MAC Cosmetics.
Due to join the business on 19 May, Formichetti will bring his “visionary artistry, genre-defying creativity and consumer-first mindset” to the business where he will be responsible shaping the strategy, conceptualisation and execution of MAC’s creative vision.
This will include elevating the brand’s global image and impact across touchpoints ranging from campaigns and social media platforms to product, packaging, and immersive retail experiences.
Known for his genre-defying work with celebrities such as Lady Gaga, he will lead a multidisciplinary creative team while reporting directly to Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois, MAC’s senior vice president and global general manager.
