Trouva launches community-led shoppable video feed

Trouva, the online marketplace for independent boutiques and brands, has launched its first social commerce feature.

Explore on Trouva is a shoppable short video feed that brings to life the characters, personalities and faces behind sellers on the platform. It will also guide and inspire customers through their shopping experience by giving access to expert tips, try-ons and styling sessions.

Jon Reynolds, chief executive of Trouva/Re-store, said: “I’m thrilled to share the first huge step in Re:store’s integration with Trouva and its passionate independent community. ‘Explore’ is our very first social commerce feature available for all customers to watch, shop and engage with sellers in a new way. This is just the start and we’re delighted by the content being created by our boutique community, creators and Trouva’s team already. Watch this space, there’s plenty more to come.”

Explore on Trouva has launched with Alana Laverty and Nads Bacchus as its first resident content creators. The pair will be adding inspiring and shoppable short video content to the platform throughout the festive period.
